Love and Literacy | March 21, 2025
It’s hard to believe it’s already been almost two weeks since our Love & Literacy event at GLAD! 💛📚
We’re still feeling so grateful for the joys, connections, and energy that filled the whole day.
It was truly special to gather with our families, read stories in ASL, and celebrate learning together.
To everyone who joined us—thank you for being part of Love & Literacy event!
We loved seeing families get together to connect and use ASL with their children and interact with resource booths, small deaf businesses, organizations and more!
We’re also incredibly thankful to everyone who could bring their children to GLAD!
Because of you, parents of Deaf children were able to take home books and valuable resources to continue their journey.
We can’t wait to see you at our next event—come join us and be part of our amazing community! 💫

✨ Family Outreach Advocates and LEAD-K are hosting our annual Love and Literacy event on March 21, 2026, from 10 AM to 2 PM at GLAD! ✨
🐣🐰 Our theme is “Bunny Trails & Signing Tales,” which includes Literacy entertainment, Community resources, ASL storytelling, crafts, and an egg hunt to support language growth in deaf* children

🐣🐰El tema de este año es “Caminos de Conejitos y Cuentos en Señas”, e incluye entretenimiento con enfoque en la alfabetización, recursos comunitarios, narración de cuentos en Lengua de Señas Americana (ASL), actividades de manualidades y una búsqueda de huevos para apoyar el crecimiento del lenguaje en niños sordos*
