Consumers who want to live independently can make an appointment with one of GLAD’s Community Advocates. The Community Advocate will provide resources to the consumer and make sure they understand them.
GLAD’s Community Advocates can show consumers how to use technology to live independently and apply for free equipment. Consumers can also use the equipment in GLAD’s Visual Communication Center for free during business hours.
