Worlds AIDS Day | Dec 1 2024

World AIDS Day is observed annually on December 1, 2024, as a day of global solidarity with individuals living with HIV and in memory of those who have lost their lives to the disease. Here are several meaningful ways to participate:
1. Wear the Red Ribbon: This powerful symbol represents support for those affected by HIV/AIDS and serves as a reminder of the ongoing fight against the epidemic.
2. Get Tested: Knowing your HIV status is crucial. Testing is the only way to determine if you are HIV positive, and early detection can lead to better health outcomes.
3. Raise Awareness: Share information on how to combat HIV stigma. Educating friends and family can help foster a more supportive community.

To honor those who have passed, visit the AIDS Memorial website through links in bio. You can search for names of loved ones lost to HIV/AIDS and view their memorial quilt. If a quilt panel has not yet been created for someone you know, you can contribute by visiting the links in bio.
