🎗️ World Day Against Trafficking Persons on July 30
Did you know that July 30 marks World Day Against Trafficking in Persons? That’s correct! It’s time to take a stand against trafficking! This important day is observed each year to raise awareness about human trafficking and to protect the rights of victims. There are several agencies that provide direct services in American Sign Language (ASL) to support deaf victims or those who know someone currently affected by trafficking. The Deaf Hotline has a directory of deaf peer organizations that you can search and filter by state to find nearby resources and assistance. Additionally, we at GLAD are committed to advocating for your rights to escape and seek help from situations of human trafficking.
Please visit the link at thedeafhotline.org/get-help or contact us at GLAD for assistance at [email protected] or 323.892.2225 VP.
