As World AIDS Day falls on December 1st, we stand in solidarity with more than 40 million people around the world that live with HIV/AIDS, and we remember and honor those we have lost their lives to HIV/AIDS.
In honor of the deaf individuals who have lost their lives to AIDS since 1989, we continue to experience loss each day. Thanks to the researchers who opened the door to breakthroughs and advancements in treatments for HIV/AIDS, and many HIV-positive people are living increasingly long lives, now extending over 25 years!
