Women’s Equality Day is celebrated in the USA on August 26th to honor the Nineteenth Amendment to the Constitution, which ensures that citizens cannot be denied the right to vote based on sex (gender). This day serves as a reminder of the progress made towards gender equality and inspires continued efforts for equal rights for all.
