As one of GLAD’s founders, Marcella’s accomplishments are many. Throughout her life, she fought for deaf communities to get equal access in many ways: including emergency services, programs, and communication.

This scholarship fund was established in 1990 to assist deaf and hard of hearing women who wish to further their career but cannot afford to do so.
