SoCalGas offers funding assistance for bills until August 8th, after which the program will be closed until further notice in 2026. Edison will continue to provide open and accessible funding assistance for electricity bills.

Edison are partnering with United Way of Greater Los Angeles to provide one-time bill grants for residents of Southern California, including Kern County (gas only). Eligible applicants can receive up to $100 for gas and $200 for electricity. If you experience bills behind due to wildfire, the funding assistance will be able to add $100 more. This assistance is available on a first-come, first-served basis for customers who meet the income criteria. For more information, please contact us for assistance.
